Seth A. Herr
I’m from Galesburg IL and came to Purdue originally for my undergraduate degree. After graduating I stayed at Purdue and am currently pursuing a PhD in Integrative Neuroscience. My research focuses on neurotrauma including brain and spinal cord injury.
I am earning my PhD in Purdue's horticulture Landscape Architecture department where I study plant secondary metabolism under the guidance of Dr. Josh Widhalm. I enjoy being as social as my studies allow me and can be found hanging out with friends or with my two pet cockatiels Dolly and Bingo.
Pratik is a 6th year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering who got his bachelor's from PESIT (Bangalore, India) in 2014. His research focuses on medical imaging and its various applications. In his free time, Pratik likes to play the bass, cricket, softball and hopes to one day pitch at a MLB game. Besides that, he is a self-proclaimed "party animal" as you'll definitely catch him at the next PGSG Pint Night.
I am from a small town in India. Did my Mechanical Engineering before doing my MBA in Marketing. Worked for a few years before coming here to pursue a Ph.D. in Marketing.
Studied cracks in polymer bonded explosives. My personality is quite the opposite. I like to play chess, table tennis and read books on almost any topic.
Ellen is a 7th year Ph.D. student in the Mathematics Department studying C*-algebras arising from Bieberbach groups which, amazingly, is much more interesting than it sounds. In her free time, Ellen enjoys hanging out at bars with her friends.
