Carly is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in Human Development and Family Studies and a second-year master’s student in Public Health. Her research interests broadly center on promoting positive development among underserved youth through education, mentoring programs, and civic engagement. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and an M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Purdue University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with animals, watching YA movies/TV shows, going on outdoor walks, and trying new hobbies.
